Morris Granly duo

​Ask Morris Rasmussen (sax) and Philip Edwards Granly (piano) formed a duo at the Jazz Academy in Trondheim and seek to create a free, melodic and lyrical musical landscape. The audience will experience both the expected and unexpected – either they improvise over a jazz standard, perform their own compositions or create the music in real time while on stage. A strong inspirational source is the 7-cd livealbum «People Time» by the duo Stan Getz and Kenny Baron (Copenhagen, 1991).
